-President: next week super bowl week- street closures may affect the meeting

-Treasurer: Sold 2 kinsmen patches sold 1 left $351 total in treasury

4) Old Business: Elections last month/gear night last saturday(only 2 bartenders present @ Anvil) Xavier and Ben were bootblacks/discussion last month – setting intentions – ran by Rod, Mark, & Eric (setting goals overcoming obstacles)
5) New Business
-Mentor Meeting: This Sunday @ 1pm @ Rocko’s. Discussing mentees. Members/mentors only
-Gear Night: 2/25 last Saturday of the month
-Ripple (Trick and Jeremy from Ripple – 501C3 Outreach based): Jeremy present to speak about Ripple and having Ripple at Gear Night. 30 people tested at Nasty Santa. 8 people had never been tested. Jeremy stated he wanted to be as respectful as possible and doesnt want to be intrusive. They would like to join all of our Gear Nights. They can go with QR codes to limit light pollution.
Concerns with Ripple at Gear Night: Potentially too many people, not enough parking. Some people at Nasty Santa did not get tested because it was outside and they felt exposed.
How can the boys help Ripple at Gear Night: Bring people to get tested, get tested if you do not know your status,
Rocko suggested having a small welcome table to great folks and let them know they can get tested.
Scotty motioned to have Ripple Setup the mobile unit for all Gear Nights. Miah seconded the motion. Dusty amended the motion to do this for just February and see how it goes. Ripple and PboL enter into a partnership for Gear Night. 13 votes for pass. Motion passes.
-Discussion Night: Ideas: Rod- Have Ripple come talk to the boys about how we can support them during GN (17). Shadow: Art of cruising (28-Winner!) Shadow, Austin, Patric leading the discussion.Scotty: boyhood and what it means to you (14)Xavier: Mentee event – show and tell (18) Sam: Poly & metamores (your partner’s partner) (18)
-Pins and patches (Patricko): 0 member patches, 1 kinsmen, 13 member pins. 10 active mentees. Need to restock pins and patches. Patrick spoke with Sarge – will do pins and patches. patches $58 each. Unknown cost of pins. Boy run $225 for 100 pins. Various ways to fund the pins/patches discussed: Folks prepaying, vs. paying out of the current treasury. Peter suggested to have the members discuss potential fundraising ideas for patches/pins. Rocko suggested just throwing out the idea of just asking for donations within the club- will be discussed within the telegram chat.
-Naughty Valentines (Ryan): 2/11. Kinky event benefiting the Queer
Center.
-Queer Center Gay Rodeo: Shifts our 2-4 hours to all day. Allowed admission if you volunteer. Come see Jesse. Feb 18th and 19th.
-Artists of the Floating World 2/25 (Patrick)Kinky showcase talent within the community. Tix $15. Exposed gallery. Poetry/song/art/literature. Live performances. Formal leather encouraged.Fundraiser MMPL travel funds. Submissions until this sunday ⅖.
-By Laws Committee (Rocko) (aka fantabulous committee!!): Please see Rocko after the meeting if you are interested in joining the committee. Members and Kinsmen only.
-Western boy Run – Las Vegas 9/8-10: Cheap and strong drinks! Happening the weekend after labor day. Will need to adjust the date of camping. More information to come. Not member exclusive. Mark your calendars. Patrick explained what the boy run is.
– TK doing Matsuri on Feb 25th for her birthday and would love to have boys join her.
-Sam March 16th offering to host the discussion for drinks and wedding cake
-Scotty Feb 10th – Brooklyn is doing the Empress ball. Sam is deputy & Scotty s lieutenant. They are looking for 3 volunteers. The theme is Alice in Leatherland. Need to be there at 7:45pm starts @ 8pm.
